Welcome to ajayable.com!

I have spent 28 years doing one thing that most organisations consistently underestimate: ensuring that when a project needs capability, it actually exists.
Across Oil & Gas, EPC, and engineering-intensive environments — in India, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific — I have led workforce and resourcing strategies for some of the world’s most demanding project programmes. My career spans nine countries and a client portfolio that includes Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, Qatar Energy, ExxonMobil, BP, Chevron, Woodside, TotalEnergies, and Dow. Over that period, I have placed over 12,000 professionals, led resourcing teams of up to 23 people, and delivered workforce solutions across FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and Operations phases — from offshore platforms and refineries to LNG terminals and major infrastructure.
I currently serve as Talent Acquisition & Resourcing Lead — India for a global EPC major, where I own end-to-end workforce strategy across three GEC locations, servicing a concurrent portfolio of 16+ active projects for Tier-1 global clients. My work sits at the intersection of workforce planning, delivery risk management, contract and flexi staff governance, and talent pipeline architecture. The measure of success is never how many people we hired — it is whether the project ever waited for a person.
What I have learned across nearly three decades is that most workforce problems are not recruitment problems. They are planning problems, capability design problems, and risk visibility problems. The organisations that get this right treat talent as a delivery function, not an administrative one. They forecast workforce demand the same way they forecast project schedules. They know which roles are truly critical, where the market is thin, and how to build supply before the need becomes urgent.
ajayable.com is where I translate that experience into practical, field-tested thinking for TA professionals, HR leaders, and anyone responsible for workforce decisions in engineering, energy, and infrastructure environments. I write about workforce strategy and planning, skills-first talent models, AI and technology in recruitment, contract workforce management, and the practical challenges of building delivery-ready teams in complex project environments — with a focus on what actually works under deadline pressure, not what looks good in a framework.
If you are building, leading, or transforming a TA or workforce function in Oil & Gas, EPC, Power, Renewables, or allied sectors — or if you are a recruiter or HR professional looking to operate at a more strategic level — I invite you to explore the articles here and connect with me on LinkedIn.
The best workforce decisions are made before the need becomes a crisis. That is what this space is about.
