Welcome to ajayable.com!

With over two decades in Talent Acquisition, I specialise in solving complex hiring challenges for engineering-intensive, project-based organisations across oil and gas, EPC, power, and renewables. I am passionate about connecting exceptional technical and leadership talent with high-impact opportunities that shape the world’s energy and infrastructure landscape.
Currently, I serve as the Talent Acquisition Lead for a global Oil & Gas EPC company, where I drive end-to-end hiring across offshore and onshore projects, refineries, petrochemical complexes, ports, power plants, and water and wastewater treatment facilities. My work spans workforce planning, senior and niche hiring, and building scalable recruitment strategies that align closely with project timelines and business priorities.
Over the years, I have led and modernised TA functions by embedding data-driven decision-making, skills-first hiring, and technology-enabled sourcing into day-to-day recruitment operations. I partner with business leaders, project directors, and HR teams to anticipate future skill needs, strengthen leadership pipelines, and ensure organisations remain competitive in an increasingly volatile talent market.
ajayable.com is my space to translate this real-world experience into practical, usable insights for recruiters, HR professionals, and business leaders. I write about AI in recruitment, skills-first talent models, workforce and leadership readiness, and the evolving world of work—with a focus on what can actually be implemented in busy, high-pressure environments like EPC and industrial projects.
My goal is simple: to help you build a modern, resilient talent function that delivers the right people, at the right time, for the right roles—without losing sight of fairness, candidate experience, and organisational purpose.
If you are building or transforming a TA function in engineering, energy, infrastructure, or allied sectors—or if you are a recruiter or HR professional looking to stay ahead of the curve—I invite you to explore the articles here and connect with me on LinkedIn to continue the conversation.
